Hello May! Let's start this month on a fun and positive note...
1. I'm so addicted to Pokemon Y right now and I've found a new-to-me Pokemon to obsess over: Amaura! I grew up with the original Pokemon, Gen 1. I knew of the odd Pokemon from later generations but I didn't play the games, so I didn't know them well. Now, playing Pokemon Y for the first time, I'm finding so many new Pokemon to love. Amaura is the newest obsession and team member for me. As Adam has pointed out, Pokemon must meet a certain cute factor for me to put them on my team.
2. I've always been a huge fan of the t-shirt sites out there. TeeFury has been one that I've purchased from often. They released a new shirt recently that I'm crazy about. Ghosbusters x Golden Girls mash up? Yes please! Even Sophia's purse made it into the design!
3. Star Wars Day is coming up and unfortunately I'm too busy to bake up something Star Wars themed, but that doesn't mean I can't admire all the amazing Star Wars goodies showing up online. I really wish this cake had a source link attached to it on pinterest. For now, let's all admire this amazing Star Wars cake!

Life has been a whirlwind lately. The weather has been a tease and only giving us snippets of nice weather and then giving us a ton of rain. So my evenings have been spent inside more often than I'd like. But it's hard to go for after dinner walks when it's cold enough for a winter jacket or it's pouring rain.
1. Adam and I have been playing more video games lately since our evenings have been damp and chilly here. Hiding under blankets with cats snuggled up is the perfect way to spend time together. Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is a game Adam downloaded on the Playstation Network.
It's a co-op adventure game and highly addictive. You work together to steer and protect your ship, while also saving bunny friends, fighting off enemies, and making your way through space. It's so much fun and I want to play it every night.
2. Hot Topic released a Retro Disney collection with the most adorable dresses. My favourite one is The Little Mermaid, which is no surprise. The colour is perfect.
3. I know the third season of iZombie JUST started. But, oh man, I'm so loving it. Seriously, catch up or start this show if you haven't watched it already!

There are a handful of things I'm really excited for right now...
1. I cannot wait to see the new Power Rangers movie. I'm hoping to squeeze in a movie date with Adam next week to see it sooner rather than later. I'm trying not to have high expectations but I also can't seem to control my excitement.

2. The third season of iZombie starts soon and I'm pumped for more zombie craziness! I love the chemistry between Liv and Ravi. Their friendship is fantastic and incredibly amusing.

3. So who's seen Logan? I recently went to the theatres to see it and I absolutely loved it! It's easily my favourite X-Men-universe movie. Yes, it even beats out Deadpool for me. Logan made me laugh, cry, and scream along with characters. X-23 was perfect and I found so much joy watching her and Logan fight alongside each other. It was the perfect ending to Hugh Jackman's run as Wolverine.

Fandom Favourites: Toy Fair Edition
Wednesday, 22 February 2017
The London Toy Fair happened about a month ago and New York Toy Fair was this past weekend. That means Funko, along with other toy companies, announced new toys (either finished products, prototypes, or photos) for the upcoming year. I love seeing what's been revealed and find myself getting lost on Instagram while I look at photos from the events.
1. First up, we'll go over the Funko toys that I'm most excited for:
Parks and Recreation Pop! Figures - I'm most excited to get a Leslie Knope figure for my shelf. She's such an amazing character and I love everything she embodies.
DC Bombshells Pop! Figures - I absolutely adore the Bombshells comics and the recreation of the iconic characters. I'm really hoping they release a Batwoman figure in Series 2 since she's my favourite from the comics.
Wonder Woman Pop! Figures - I haven't seen the movie but I feel like I'm going to want everything Wonder Woman after it comes out.
Disney Pint Size Heroes - I've held off on collecting all the Disney Pop! figures, Dorbz, and other Mystery Mini blind boxes. But these figures are so unbelievably cute. I will have to practice self control to keep myself from buying all of of them!
2. I love that Gund has the rights to the Pusheen line. In the past, I've come across Pusheen products at conventions and they've always been ridiculously priced. Once Gund got their hands on Pusheen, the products have been easier to find and much more reasonably priced. I've purchased a couple of the plush blind boxes from previous series but they released the Series 4 blind boxes for 2017 and I'm so excited to buy them! I so want a Pusheen Candy Corn plushie!
3. Nendoroid figures are something I've admired from afar for years now. They're so unbelievably cute and detailed. However, they're very expensive. At the NY Toy Fair they had a poster up for some upcoming Disney/Pixar figures coming out. I have a feeling I'm going to be squeeing when I see them in person at a convention.
4. I was introduced to Kotobukiya figures years ago. Talk about detailed and gorgeous figures! I've spent a lot of time looking at the Bishoujo figures whenever we go to comic book stores. They announced the Squirrel Girl figure a little while ago but revealed the Ms Marvel figure at NY Toy Fair. Oh, how I wish I could afford all their figures!
Seeing all the new figures has been super excited for my upcoming comic conventions this year. I can't wait to look at all the booths and vendors.

Fandom Favourites: Peripera x Powerpuff Girls
Wednesday, 18 January 2017
It's no secret that I've been buying more Korean beauty and skin care products over the last year. I've had nothing but success with most of the products and I've found new makeup favourites as well. I hadn't actually heard of Peripera but when I saw that they were releasing a Powerpuff Girls line via the Internet, I knew I had to look into it!
I'm a complete sucker for eye shadows. I have at least 20.... but in my defense I wear different colours all the time. I so want the Bubbles palette after seeing the swatches.
I'm not much of a lipstick person but from what I've read in the reviews, Peripera seem to be known for their vibrant lip products. I may try out an Ink Stick but I have my heart set on the lip tint which I think is perfectly represented with Buttercup on the packaging (she's not much of a lipstick girl either).
What pop culture line will these beauty companies come out with next?! First Pokemon, now Powerpuff Girls. I think a Sailor Moon line would be pretty perfect.

I've read numerous reviews on blogs and even watched a handful of YouTube videos showing the swatches of the makeup and how easy the lip products go on. This has only made me want these products more. I'm hoping that Yes Style will eventually carry the line.

Fandom Favourites: Pint Size Heroes
Monday, 16 January 2017
Funko has some serious skills to make everything adorable. So adorable, it hurts my wallet!
They released their Pint Size Heroes line last year but the collections they released initially didn't really grab me. Then they put out Batman ones and Adam added a few of the blind bags to my Christmas stocking. That was it, I was hooked!
I ended up getting all the Gotham City Sirens and the figures are beyond adorable. They're tiny and well-detailed. They only stand at 1.5" tall!
Now they've released a line of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Pint Size figures and I'm swooning after getting the Green Ranger in my blind bag.
As long as Funko is in business and releasing new figures, I will forever be a child filling my home with tiny adorable toys.

As we come to the end of 2016, I'm getting excited for new releases coming out next year in 2017.
1. The official trailer for Riverdale on CW was released last week. This is the TV show based on the Archie comics. It looks dark and full of drama and I'm so excited to see how the show is. You can watch the trailer below.
2. Funko announced a Winnie the Pooh line of Pop! Vinyls and I'm squeeing over the Eeyore one!
3. The teaser trailers being released for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 have me so pumped for the movie to come out next year. And look how cute Baby Groot is!!
What are you excited for in 2017?

Fandom Favourites: Tony Moly x Pokemon
Monday, 7 November 2016
A while back I heard about the Tony Moly x Pokemon collection of skincare and makeup products being released. I had very little faith that I'd be able to find it here in Canada though.
I'm coveting all the hand creams because the packaging is too cute and I have hand cream everywhere in the house because of how dry our Winters are. But the nail polish is also tempting. I might have to pick up the Pikachu one since I'm all about glitter nail polish.

To my delight, a website I buy from has added a bunch of the products to their site. Yes Style has added some of the line and I may have already added some things to my shopping cart!

I was introduced to Tony Moly over the last year while I became addicted to Korean face masks and I'm excited to try some of their other products, especially if they're in adorable Pokemon packaging.
Will you be picking up any of the Tony Moly x Pokemon line?

Some pretty great movie trailers and TV show news have been shared over the last couple of weeks and I'm feeling pretty excited about some of them.
1. The new Power Rangers teaser trailer was released and, as someone who grew up watching the original series, I can feel my insides scream with excitement for this movie.
2. During NYCC, at the Legion panel, they confirmed that Charles Xavier will be mentioned as Legion's father in the show. Which only means there's a possibility for a cameo, right?! I can't wait for this show to start in 2017.
3. I'm late to the party, but I finally watched Netflix's Stranger Things. And holy crap, it's so good and I'm ready to rewatch it over again and possibly play the soundtrack throughout the entire month of October for it's creepiness. Because I finished up the show I was able to read about the Stranger Things panel at NYCC and what information they could give for season 2, which can't arrive soon enough.

Hello! I wanted to share some of my fandom favourites with you today.
1. I'm really enjoying the new Powerpuff Girls TV show and I especially want the new figures that have been released for the show. There's an entire new line of toys for PPG, but the little plastic figures are a necessity for my collection.
2. Recently at EB Games I spotted the SDCC Exclusive X-Men Dorbz. So I've done my best not to buy any of the Dorbz figures because I can only fit so many toys on my shelves. But the X-Men ones are too cute! Maybe it's because Wolverine is actually smiling...
3. TeeTurtle released a few candy girl t-shirt designs and I love every single one. However, the Candy Corn Countess has won over my heart.
4. The new Gilmore Girls episodes are so close to airing (not really that close, but close enough that I can count down now). I pretty much squee every time I see anything Gilmore Girls-related. And I desperately need some sort of Luke's artwork for my kitchen. This one is perfect.

This past weekend was San Diego Comic Con and as usual a ton of trailers and news were shared in the convention halls. I always enjoy catching up on all the news, panels, and trailers at the end of the weekend. These top the list of what I'm most excited for:
1. Wonder Woman Trailer - wow! It looks incredibly kickass and I'm very excited for this movie now.
2. Legion Trailer - I knew there was an X-Men show in the works but I didn't realize it would center on Legion, Charles Xavier's son. I'm very curious about this series.
3. The LEGO Batman Movie - this full-length trailer shows just how hilarious this movie is going to be. Will Arnett is the perfect LEGO Batman!
4. New trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them - yet another trailer for this movie that gives me goosebumps. I'm beyond excited to be back in that world.
A lot of the other trailers released looked amazing and I'm pumped for all the new Marvel TV shows and the return of The Walking Dead! What SDCC news has you excited?

Fandom Favourites: Pokemon Go
Wednesday, 20 July 2016
I highly doubt I have to explain to anyone what Pokemon Go is. If so, just check out this post about the new Pokemon app. Since late Sunday night, when the game was officially released in Canada, I have gone on 4 walks in my neighbourhood to look for Pokemon. This game is seriously going to get me in shape at this rate considering it's only Wednesday.
To share my love for Pokemon and how much fun I'm having playing Pokemon Go, I rounded up my top favourite Pokemon t-shirt designs that have been popping up in my email inbox (thanks to TeeFury, RiptApparel, and TeeTurtle).
Clockwise from top right box:
1. Where's the Gym? by TeeTurtle
2. Certified Trainer by Oktobear
3. Tiny Turtle Trained by Huino
4. Gotta Fit Them All by DoOomcat
5. PikaPooh by Ste7en Lefcourt
Have you been playing Pokemon Go? Are you enjoying it? The servers have been a little unstable this week and my phone has the worst GPS signal apparently since my trainer is constantly running around the map, but overall we're having a fun time catching Pokemon!

Happy Friday! Let's get right to my fandom favourites this week...
1. It took me a bit to get to, but I finally finished season 2 of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. I enjoyed this season just as much as the first season. I loved Tina Fey's character and seeing Titus grow in a relationship was super sweet. And not to give out spoilers, but damn, I loved how the season ended. I'm pumped for season 3 already!
2. As we get closer to the new Ghostbusters release date, more and more Ghostbusters' merch is popping up online (just not in Canadian stores *insert sad face*). I'm head over heels in love with these Ghostbuster designs and I so badly want both on t-shirts.

As we head into Summer, new television series are announced for Fall, convention exclusives are released, and current television series wrap up with cliffhangers or emotional finales. I find this is the time of year when I fangirl the most, especially as big Blockbuster movies head to the movie theatre too. Here's what I'm fangirling over right now:
1. I'm a huge fan of Kristen Bell and everything she does. Well, I recently watched the trailer for her new television show, The Good Place, and it looks hilarious and adorable and different! I'm excited for this to air.
2. Adam and I just finished playing through Left 4 Dead 2. So in comparison to the first game, this one was a million times harder (I'm exaggerating just a little). Seriously though, there was one level where we encountered maybe 9 witches. And if you've ever played Left 4 Dead, you know how scary the witches are. The music alone makes me want to curl into a ball under a blanket. It was fun playing that style of game again though, even during the stressful parts.

3. I know I'm not the only one who thinks the most recent season of 2 Broke Girls was a breath of fresh air. The show got a little stale but I've enjoyed the story line this season and the new characters and obstacles they've introduced. I have to say after watching the season finale, I'm pumped for the next season.
4. Funko announced they were coming out with Harry Potter Mystery Minis and I knew that I would have to have them all. The style of the Mystery Minis are super adorable. I'm predicting I'll be spending most of Fan Expo weekend buying these.

It's hard to narrow down what fandom things are making me excited lately because so much news and awesome things keep coming out!
1. The trailer for the new Ghostbusters movie makes me super giddy and I've watched it at least 10 times now. I'm already eyeing up the new Pop! Vinyl figures for the movie. .
2. The new trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them was released last weekend, and holy crap, it gives me chills! I cannot wait to be back in that world.
3. Entertainment Weekly released new photos for the Gilmore Girls return - both of Lorelai and Rory and some on-set photos. And I've been spending a lot of time dissecting the on-set photos with friends. To say I'm a little excited is an understatement. Oh, and the fact that Sookie has been confirmed to come back has basically made my year!
4. Deadpool 2 was confirmed which is pretty exciting since the first movie was so good. But what excites me most? The fact that Cable will be in it. So they better not screw up the casting.

Hello! This past weekend was Toronto ComiCon and what do comic conventions usually do? Make me want to buy all the things! I was pretty good in controlling myself with purchases but I have a giant wish list for future conventions and for my birthday this Summer.
1. There were so many girls (of all ages) dressed as Rey at the convention and it has me wanting to try her hairstyle and wear this dress from We Love Fine.

2. The Powerpuff Girls are back April 4th! I love the original series and I know this new series will feel different, especially with new voice actors. But I can't wait to see the girls in action again.
3. I recently had a favourite episodes of Gilmore Girls marathon with a friend and all it did was re-ignite my Gilmore Girls love. I desperately need this tank from Look Human even though it's probably not true.
4. So when browsing Kate Spade's website recently I noticed their Minnie Mouse collection. Can we all agree this Minnie Mouse bow clasp is too precious?!
5. Everywhere I look right now I find these Funko Disney Mystery Minis Blind Boxes. They are SO cute. So far I've held off buying any, but every time I see them my self control weakens.
