I find that my love for reading and listening to audio books comes and goes a bit. When I'm watching a really good TV show, maybe a nostalgic one (like Gilmore Girls), then I'd rather have the TV on when I'm sewing than listen to an audio book. It's the same in the evenings. I might choose Animal Crossing New Leaf or to play a video game with Adam than read a book.
Then I'll start a book that grabs my attention and sucks me in and all of a sudden I'm back into reading and listening to audio books again. This happened to me with Mosquitoland last month. With that being said, I'm so excited for a bunch of novels.
These are the books that are at the top of my pile to read or listen to:
Furiously Happy: A Funny Book About Horrible Things by Jenny Lawson

When I get an email from my best friend about this book and how amazing it is, I know I need to read it. This book might be moving to the very top of my pile.
All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

I have heard about this book from so many people and it's just everywhere so I'm intrigued to read it.
I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson

This is yet another book that I see everywhere. Between Instagram and Tumblr, the cover of this book is ingrained into my brain. Actually it's the same with All the Bright Places.
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

So this book came from "Fangirl" where the lead character wrote fanfiction about Baz and Simon. To say I'm a little excited to read this is an understatement.
Winter by Marissa Meyer

This is the next book in The Lunar Chronicles and it comes out this week. I'm so incredibly excited for it. Once I get my hands on it, it'll be shooting to the top of my list. If you haven't read this series, check it out!
