Runs on Coffee and Cream

I've been slowly adding new items to my Etsy shop. I still have some bags to photograph and add to the shop but I've already updated it with a ton of pouches.


I also recently acquired some new fabric which I plan on starting to cut up this week for some upcoming projects. Aren't they great?!

Since Fan Expo Canada, I've been slowly adding new listings to my Etsy shop. Not only did I list all my leftover product from the convention, but I've been busy sewing up new pouches and Christmas stockings which are also up in my shop! I sold my TARDIS, Adventure Time, and Star Trek products SO quickly at the convention so I thought I should get some pouches up in that fabric for people who missed out at the show.

And since it's Fall, I've made up a few new Christmas stockings. I want to make up some more but I'm taking a break from them to sew up a few tote bags out of the Adventure Time, Star Trek, and TARDIS fabrics. I'm hoping to have them listed next week.

It's kind of crazy to think that the Christmas season is just about here. I need to start brainstorming Christmas gift ideas.

The twitter universe introduced me to a really great lady, Kristy, who is quite the Star Wars fan. After posting a picture of some stockings I was working on, she put dibs on one of the Star Wars stockings. So along with the stocking, she also requested a Star Wars tote bag. I was more than happy to work on her request and send off a Star Wars package.



I used up most of the Star Wars fabric I had, so with the scraps I sewed up a few coin purses to put up in my Etsy shop and to send one along with Kristy's order.



Conveniently, she just received her package this week which worked out since I had planned on blogging about this custom order today... oh how wonderfully it all worked out!

I was contacted after Wizard World Toronto about doing a custom order. I had sold Angie a tote bag and throw pillow at Wizard World. She had a couple of vintage sheets, Strawberry Shortcake and Ghostbusters, that she wanted turned into accessories and pillows.

I made a tote bag out of the adorable Strawberry Shortcake sheet that she had.


I also cut up the Ghostbusters sheet to make a pillowcase, zipper pouch, and a couple of throw pillows.



I was very happy with how everything turned out and Angie was too! I love doing custom orders for people. It's such a great feeling knowing that I'm able to make some thing that someone wants.

A couple of weeks ago I did a custom order for a great lady. Holly from Read Sleep Love was looking for a Ghostbusters pillowcase for her husband. I was very happy to oblige! I love filling custom requests and providing some happiness with my finished products.

Holly was sweet enough to write up a post about her custom order here and included a few pictures. I love the one with her kitty lounging on the bed with the pillow!



I've been working on some new zipper pouches this past week and slowly updating my Etsy shop with pillowcases. Take a look!
