My Life In Photos

I hope you had a lovely Christmas. It's crazy it's already over. December went by way too quickly. We had a great time visiting family but I cannot even describe how tired I feel from our mini Christmas vacation. December was filled with fun Christmas activities and I'm sad that it's over.

I baked whipped shortbread with maraschino cherries in the middle, which is the only way I like shortbread.



I also made fruitcake cookies for Adam since he's a big fan of them. I could do without them.


I consumed a decent amount of eggnog - plain and in coffee.


I squeezed in quite a few Christmas movies, but I had the most fun watching Home Alone and tweeting along with Rosa.


I spent a night watching Christmas movies and wrapping gifts. All of Adam's gifts got wrapped in this amazing Star Wars paper.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf was very festive this month. I'm so in love with the snow and colourful lights in the trees. I tried to play as much as I could. And as usual, Seymore always found a way to snuggle with me while I played.

My Life In Photos

Life has been good lately. Spring has been showing itself and being outside and doing errands in the sunshine definitely boosts my mood.

Here are some snapshots of my life lately...

The cats are obsessed with the open windows.


They're also finding all the sunny areas in the house to either sleep in our apparently fight in. 



Animal Crossing New Leaf is still an obsession. Buying animal hats and adorable clothes has become my weakness. 

 
A bunch of trades I picked up for super cheap!


We have a lot of fun plans coming up over the next couple of months. I'm excited for so many things right now!

What I'm Loving Now

If I were to pick what I was obsessed with in March it would be these two things...

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

While my Mom was up visiting we started the Netflix series. I had really wanted to see it and after seeing a couple of episodes I knew I was hooked. I flew through the rest of the series and I loved it! The characters were great and some were hilarious. I laughed out loud a lot and found myself with the theme song stuck in my head for days after I finished the show. I definitely plan on watching it again.

I blame some of the staff at IGGPPC for this new obsession. And of course I get the urge to play it when Target Canada has their liquidation sale going on. I ended up buying the last copy at my Target location for 40% off. I think Adam's written off his 3DS XL since I've been toting it around with me wherever I go. I had to take time while staying at my parents' to sell things in the game or water my flowers or to participate in the fishing tournament. And seeing and hearing about the things going on in other people's games only encourages me to keep playing so I can get my town up to their level!
