My Life In Photos

I hope you had a lovely Christmas. It's crazy it's already over. December went by way too quickly. We had a great time visiting family but I cannot even describe how tired I feel from our mini Christmas vacation. December was filled with fun Christmas activities and I'm sad that it's over.

I baked whipped shortbread with maraschino cherries in the middle, which is the only way I like shortbread.

I also made fruitcake cookies for Adam since he's a big fan of them. I could do without them.

I consumed a decent amount of eggnog - plain and in coffee.

I squeezed in quite a few Christmas movies, but I had the most fun watching Home Alone and tweeting along with Rosa.

I spent a night watching Christmas movies and wrapping gifts. All of Adam's gifts got wrapped in this amazing Star Wars paper.

The cutest gingerbread Hello Kitty on my tree!

Animal Crossing: New Leaf was very festive this month. I'm so in love with the snow and colourful lights in the trees. I tried to play as much as I could. And as usual, Seymore always found a way to snuggle with me while I played.

How was December for you? Did you have a good holiday?

  2. The cookies look great, although I could do without the fruits in all of them :) I looooove the StarWars wrapping paper. I wish I had found that, it would have been a present all by itself.

  3. That wrapping paper is fantastic! I failed MISERABLY at watching Christmas movies this year!! I actually don't think I watched any?! Going to watch Die Hard this week anyway - too late for Christmas but Bruce Willis goes with any time of year :p xxx

  4. Where did you find that Star Wars wrapping paper?! It is amazing. I didn't do any holiday baking this year and I couldn't find soy nog anywhere. :( But I did discover DIY gingerbread coffee creamer and that's pretty good too.

    1. I found the wrapping paper at Shoppers Drug Mart. I went after Christmas to see if they had more at a discounted price, but sadly it was gone. Mmmm gingerbread coffee creamer sounds amazing.
