Weekly Adventures

So I spent my first full week in Sudbury. We've done a little bit of exploring, got attacked by mosquitoes, unpacked 95% of the boxes, put up shelves, and done some shopping. It's feeling more like home and I'm enjoying how quiet our building is.

I had a very productive and fun weekend here. On Friday we had another IGGPPC Google Hangout, which you can watch here. Unfortunately Emma wasn't able to do it with us because of the time difference and she was sleeping!

Afterwards, Adam and I ventured out to our local Silvercity for a movie date. The theatre was unbelievably packed but it made sense. Man of Steel, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Now You See Me, and This Is The End are all out right now! We decided on seeing This Is The End.

The movie was hilarious! I mean, there were a few parts that were just silly and very much toilet-humour. But overall, I laughed for the majority of the movie and the ending made be tear-up because I was laughing so hard. I forgot how much I love Seth Rogen and his interaction with Jay Baruchel was funny and really cute.

On Saturday, Round 5 registration opened up for International Geek Girl Pen Pals Club. If you're looking to connect with a geek from around the world and to send and receive an awesome geek-filled package, register now before it fills up. We're only taking 500 registrants this round. You can register here.

Tonight, I'm spending my evening in watching Captain America with Adam and then updating my Etsy shop.

I hope you had a great weekend!

  3. I want to see This Is The End. I'm not a huge fan for those guys, but it looks really funny. Here in Australia, heaps of people have been complaining about it because apparently it's anti-female. But it's a funny movie. If it was suppose to be serious, there may be a problem, but it's suppose to be funny. I'm still excited! :) I really just want to see Emma Watson bash Seth Rogan!
