February was the month of snow. It feels like we got dumped on by a handful of 'snow storms'. As I stated in my previous post, I'm looking forward to the snow going away and seeing some sunshine as Spring approaches. The month itself wasn't too crazy exciting. I spent a lot of time sewing and watching TV shows.
Oh, and I'm sorry for all the Instagram photos... I barely pulled out my actual camera last month.
The view from my apartment window.
My parents' backyard was filled with snow! Our dog, Penny, couldn't move more than a few feet from the back door because the snow was too high for her.
I'm not especially proud of this, but I have lived in sweatshirts and sweatpants for the last month. It's been so cold and snowy and every time I came inside the bottom of my pants were wet and our apartment was so cold you had to wear a sweater.
I was so addicted to this comic! I have never read a book as quickly as I read this one. Unfortunately it didn't give me all the answers I was looking for, but it made me fall even more in love with the X-Men universe.
I have been making a lot of green smoothies lately. I've been using both kale and spinach in the smoothies. After talking to a friend about the ingredients I use, I realized it's the banana I add that masks the 'green' taste. I'm loving these smoothies!
I finally had the chance to head to the new froyo place in Hamilton, Yogurtys. I loved the place as soon as I entered. I predict many more visits there in the near future!
With Toronto ComiCon being in one week, I've been cutting and sewing like crazy and of course Logan had to help me by laying all over my fabric...
And then there's Seymore... who's been as lazy as normal...
I was also interviewed by Josh (@303_Ninja) for the Points of Interest Podcast, Hybrid Interests. Take a listen. I felt pretty nervous about it but Josh and Kristy made me feel so much better as the conversation went on.
How was your February? Anything exciting to look forward to this month?
