Current Obsessions

How was your week? I'm so happy it's Friday and I have the weekend off. Fan Expo is just over a month away so I'm going to be spending most of my weekend sewing because I'm starting to freak out about how much inventory I have.

During my sew-a-thon tomorrow I'll probably be finishing up Season 2 of Cougar Town since I only have a handful of episodes left. I have flown through the first 2 seasons. It only took a couple of episodes to get into the show and now I'm really loving it. Laurie (Busy Philipps) and Ellie (Christa Miller aka Jordan Sullivan from Scrubs) are absolutely hilarious. Christa Miller basically plays the same role as she did in Scrubs - a snarky, sarcastic bitch. But that's why I love her! Since Cougar Town has the same creator as Scrubs, I love seeing actors on Cougar Town that were on Scrubs. And their coffee place, Coffee Bucks, is the same in both shows. If you liked Scrubs, you'd probably enjoy Cougar Town because the humour is very much the same.

And speaking of Scrubs, me and Adam started watching the sixth season finally. Neither one of us has ever finished the entire series since I was missing the last couple of seasons. I love J.D. and Turk. Just watching it again makes me want to start the whole season over.

Besides X-Men comics, I'm about to start reading Mockingjay. I can't wait to finish the trilogy. It'll cause some late nights I'm sure. I had a hard time putting down the first 2 books.

And one of the best obsessions I have right now?? No Doubt's new single, Settle Down. I cannot wait to get my hands on their new CD. The love I have for this band is indescribable. I've been listening to them for probably 15 years now. I've seen them twice in concert and their new single makes me so excited because it still sounds like them. Just a newer version!

There are so many shows that I want to start watching after Cougar Town but I think I'll be starting Supernatural this weekend. I've heard so many good things about this show from a couple of awesome ladies.

Have a good weekend!
