Toronto ComiCon

This past weekend was Toronto ComiCon. I had a table in Artist Alley and I was so excited for this show. It was the first show of the year for me and I've been sewing like mad for it. Well, the weekend didn't disappoint. The show stayed pretty busy and steady all day both Saturday and Sunday. I met some wonderful people and I was happy to sell some of my items to people who loved what I made. It's such a gratifying feeling when people compliment something that you've put time and love into. I heard 'ahhh Bubbles!' so many times. Girls and guys were spotting my Powerpuff Girls pillow from across the aisle and would run over. Thiings like that make me so happy!

I also sold quite a few cat toys over the weekend. I only came home with a handful. But the sweetest thing was a customer who bought a toy on Saturday came by my table again on Sunday to tell me her cat went crazy for the toy and then proceeded to hug it for 2 hours.... oh how kitties melt my heart.

I wasn't able to get away from my table too much this weekend so there's not as many pictures of the cosplay as I would have liked. Oh well, I still have 2 more conventions this year to go to.

My favourite thing from the weekend? I won a free Mockingjay pin from the Alliance booth. I had to answer a trivia question but that was a breeze! I'm so excited to wear this!

This show was such a great start to the convention season. I'm excited for Wizard World next month. I have 4 weeks to restock... yikes! It'll be another busy and quick month!

Have a good night!
