Fall Teas

The weather changed very quickly here. One day it was summer and the next day we had to dig out our pants because the weather had turned cool. I'm not going to lie, I'm loving it. September is the beginning of my favourite seasons - fall through Christmas.

The evenings and nights are quite cold already. I'm finding myself pulling out hoodies to wear on the couch and warmer flannel pajamas for bedtime. With cool evenings comes hot drinks while I watch TV or work on the computer. Since I'm no longer pregnant and avoiding herbal teas, I've been drinking through my tea collection. I thought I'd share my favourite hot teas to drink during the cooler months.

Clockwise from top left:

1. Tim Horton's Apple Cinnamon - a great caffeine free tea to drink anytime of the day. It has such a nice, warm flavour that makes me think of fall and it's great black or with a splash of milk.

2. Tazo Zen - a green tea with spearmint which makes it incredibly refreshing. This is one of my favourite green teas and I typically drink it with a tiny bit of milk.

3. Davids Tea Coco Mango Chai - turmeric, coconut and mango, this tea is so warm and fruity. The turmeric has a strong flavour and adds spice to the tea, so you have to enjoy the flavour of it, which I do!

4. Davids Tea The Spice is Right - this is an amazing green tea! Do you like those little red cinnamon hearts that are out around Valentine's Day? This tea tastes like someone threw a handful of those in to steep with the tea. It's SO good and warms me up from the inside!

5. Davids Tea Pumpkin Chai - I've always been a big fan of chai tea. The spices are so warm and make me feel cozy. Now add in some caramel and pumpkin candies, and it's even better!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not all about teas during this season. I will be consuming my fair share of pumpkin spice lattes and mochas over the next few months. But a hot tea on a cold day holds a special, cozy place with me.

What's your favourite tea?
