Runs on Coffee and Cream

Happy November 1st! Did you have a good Halloween? I spent the evening at my parents' house handing out candy with my Mom. There were so many cute costumes but by far my favourite costume was a young boy, maybe 4 years old, dressed as Mario. We asked him where Luigi was and he talked to us for a few minutes but we didn't understand a word he said. It was adorable.

The fact that it's November makes me so incredibly excited and happy though. I cannot wait to start getting ready for Christmas... shopping, wrapping gifts, baking treats, watching Christmas movies... I love it and it makes me feel so cozy and happy. We have a girls' weekend planned this month to go across the border to do some Christmas shopping and there's a couple of Holiday Craft Shows coming up that I'm looking forward to.

This month also marks the first time I have been a sponsor on another blog. This is both exciting and a little scary. But I'm very happy that I choose to do it on Elycia's wonderful blog. When I came across her blog a couple of years ago I instantly felt a connection with her. Not only did we live in the same area, but her outlook on life, her love of kitties and crafting is so similar to myself. We even got married on the same day this past year, which was a total coincidence! We've met in person and I'm sad that my awkwardness and shyness took over. Oh, how the Internet makes social interaction so much easier haha.



Anyways, my little banner will be up all month and hopefully I'll be able to keep it there for even longer if I reach some goals I've set for myself.
