What I'm Loving: Makeup Edition

Summer is for minimal makeup. Something to maybe hide any blemishes and make you look more awake. I've been on the hunt for the perfect SPF foundation/BB cream/whatever. I love Beautycounter's Dew Skin for an incredible glow and SPF coverage. But I still had to use concealer to cover any redness from my rosacea.

Then I heard about Tower 28's Sunny Days SPF lightweight foundation. It's been formulated for sensitive skin, and is actually the first complexion product with the National Eczema Association's Seal of Acceptance. And since I'm a huge fan of their SOS spray which is geared towards sensitive skin sufferers, I thought their foundation would be a great product to try.

I'm in LOVE.

I used NO concealer. Just the Sunny Days foundation with some blush and powder on my nose and forehead only.

It definitely has a radiant glow finish, enough that I had to tone down the shine in my T-zone with some mattifying powder. But this foundation, along with my Cheeky Cream blush and brow gel, makes me feel awake and confident!

Now if you go looking for this and you're not in the U.S., it won't state that it has SPF 30. But it does! The formula is the same in all countries it's sold. However, Health Canada has a longer process to approve SPF formulas. So for Tower 28 to get it in the hands of their Canadian fans, they just dropped the 'SPF' mention on the front of the bottle. BUT IT IS SPF 30 foundation!

I've been using this foundation for about a week now and I'm confident I've found my go-to, must-have foundation. It's super lightweight when you apply it with your fingers but you can build it to a more medium coverage with a beauty blender. I can't recommend it enough!

What makeup have you been reaching for this summer?
